Reviews
I am a regular at this place. And have been putting off writing a review for a while. Because I always thought I’d give it another try.
I have to say if you are not friendly at least make me a good capuccino. I’m sorry I don’t know the names but literally the man who works there who always wears a hoody is the only friendly person, and he is the only one who should be allowed to make coffee. He actually puts an effort. The lady that is working there today, I dread when she makes my capuccino. First the cup is not even filled . The foam is wrong and she just throws the milk in there without any good method/barista technique . Complaining is not my thing but the ladies that work there do not like/know how to make coffee nor are they ever friendly . Kinda sad experience when you just want a pick me up nice cup of capuccino. See pic attached and judge for yourself if this is worth $6.50
i recommend only if the guy is making the coffees .
Somehow, some way, this tiny counter underground has the best quality third wave lattee in MTL. The service is always very quick. The Baristas are unpretentious. The lattee is never tepid (as often happens in other places). I'm astonished! Wish they were open on the weekend!!!! Xoxox
Great little coffee shop - insanely hard to find and is a few levels underground right above the metro line
Finding the place is hard but coffee is excellent and the dark chocolate mocha is high quality
The staff was very friendly and the cashier seemed to legitimately love his job! However the coffee I was served was gross, I contemplated throwing it out. It tasted as if it was the third jug of coffee made from the same, watered down beans. That was my second time there, and I was hoping that the coffee would have been better than it was the first time, but it wasn't.
Hidden place just in Front of the Metro McGill.
Coffee is really good and the beans are from one the best Roaster in Canada.
I ordered a scone( Canneberge, chocolate and thym) was hummm great with a latte. To recommend!
Everything they sell is high quality. You can expect great third-wave coffee and fresh pastries. My problem is with their prices, which are above other third-wave coffee shops in the area. $4 for a cheese croissant and $5 for a small latte is way too much. If you're ready to pay for the convenience of not getting out the metro on your way to work, then it'll work for you.
Such a charming little hole in the wall! You wouldn’t expect it; but the coffee is scrumptious and high-quality. Their lattes are super creamy. Plus, the service is friendly. What a treat!
